It's been three years and this is still the best creation ever to bless this universe

That intro is deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
The higher notes seem to have more volume - would be nice to be able to fix that but I'm not sure if you can do so without destroying the mix later.
Piano work is great. IMO you could certainly play with velocity on it some more, as all of the notes are pretty similar in intensity at the moment. (Also it's drowning out the bass, but I'm going to leave out mixing feedback from here on because I assume you haven't mixed it much yet haha.)
When the trancey stuff comes in around 1:20, it gets great. I'm getting the feeling that the rhythm could be a bit different to further pique the interest of listeners - perhaps moving the first kick every second measure to be on the last beat of the previous, or just add a bit more in general. It would play really well with the melody.
I feel like the breakdown in the middle would be a bit more effective if you faded the drums out with a lowpass, but that's just me.
The bass from the intro and breakdown needs a lowpass somewhere, I think - there are some overtones in the high mids.
The part starting at 3:02 swings really well and I love it.

There are a bunch more things that I would say if I didn't know that Karl was going to work his magic on it, haha. Right now it's a bit unclear which section is going to be what in the second half, but I guess we'll just find out after you put out the album.

Get your tickets for the hype train now, people.

Pretty good overall but almost entirely without any low end. It lacks in power as a result.

Add some sub. :P

R3VMusic responds:

okay, thanks for the feedback! :D

Can you provide a screenshot of the project to verify that it is indeed all original?

If this is still around in a few months it will be absolutely hilarious to look back on these episodes where you didn't really know exactly what you were doing haha.

One very important note: the audio is clipping (going above 0db, in case you don't know), which causes terrible-sounding distortion. The easiest solution is just to turn everything down.

WAConline responds:

YOU AGAIN! I WILL FUCKING! URGH!!!

You know what, nevermind. You got a point. I noticed that After I recorded it but since I already recorded 30 minutes of audio I couldn't do a thing about it sadly. But tomorrow I will fix that. :P
Plus, I had to switch rooms because the computer on the other room wasn't working. But the audio can be fix easily. I'll get someone to help with that tomorrow.

I would review this but @Helloyourbored said everything I would have said.

It's just boring as fuck. There's literally no variation.

Feedback incoming...
The chords have undertones which become a little overly prominent when they're extended. Was that intentional? If not, might be something to fix as it sounds a bit weird.
Drums could have used a longer fade-in IMO.
Nice arp.
The chords being on the left makes that side feel a lot heavier than the right. If there was some way to keep them more central it would have helped.
Nice build at the end of that sequence but it seemed like the drums lost a lot of oomph at the end of it. Maybe shorten the samples for that bit to prevent them getting limited so much?
Melody coming in at 1:07 is a nice synth.
When you change it up a bit later, it's not really enough - the song as a whole is pretty much just repeating itself.
Aaaand there's the piano!
Nice build, and the melody after it is great, but the synth isn't really fit for constant notes at that speed. When the piano takes over that melody it sounds a lot better.
Nicely done outro. Back to the start.
The undertone I mentioned before seems to carry on a lot longer than the rest of the chord - another reason to try and get rid of it, really. It was causing it to be a bit too heavy.

Overall, a nice track which is enjoyable to listen to (especially when I'm not wearing my good headphones which are making the undertones more audible than if I used my earbuds or laptop speakers), just needs a couple touch-ups and a bit less repetitiveness.

Probably something that I need to look into. Probably due to the harmonizer and or the timbre.
Maybe.
A modified Nexus one, I believe.
I didn't notice that when I was listening to it. Odd.
Never thought of doing that. I could do.
It was supposed to sound like the sample from Maduk's "Hourglass".
I intended it to be repetitive. I always try and go for different melodies, and sometimes I really think they just don't fit. And as a comparison, listen to both Hourglass and Ghost Assassin if you haven't done so.
Gotta have it in there somewhere!
Maybe turning down the synth would have helped, or reduce the velocity.
Thank you.
I'm gonna mess around with that later. To be honest it was the first time I'd ever used Harmless so I don't have a good idea on how to use it, but hopefully I can do something.

Thanks. Don't forget to check out both of the songs I mentioned. Well, that is if you want to. I can send you links if necessary :)

Piano <3333333333333

Nice intro. Love the drums.
Melodies are nice.
Love the lead coming in at about 0:38.
For some reason your background synths almost always make your track feel pretty heavy. Might be worth looking into. Just the quantity of sound is a little overwhelming. I think it's the piano, but I'm not sure.
There's too much going on at the section from 1:28 on - it's really pretty cluttered.
(That said, the individual sounds are nice, but there are too many at once.)
The outro is nice, but that sub is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too powerful. Maybe it was just the sub before and not the piano, I don't know. But please turn it down a bit.

Overall, nice track, lots of good stuff going on, but you maybe try a little too hard for variety of sounds and melodies here.

Lubloom responds:

Gotta love that Trance-style piano, am I right :P

I was messing around with the drums for a while and I found I was using a too powerful hi-hat, so hopefully that helped :3.
Thanks :)
A preset from Nexus called Another World.
I think it's due to the fact that I use a sub that requires massive sub-bass boost. Probably makes it feel a lot heavier.
I agree with that, I think it's because I tried to get the piano to match the lead. Need to tone that down :P
Idk what went on with the sub at the end lol. I gotta tone that down.

Thanks, and yeah I probably do. I was trying to go for variety on this one, but maybe a little to much.

I can fap to this
